The Koppo Wrap
(Or: How to Add a Finger Loop to a Flashlight or Pocket
Stick)
By Phil Elmore
Once you’ve practiced this a few times, it gets easier.
You’ll develop a “feel” for getting the loops tight and lined up properly.

The author tests one of his koppo-wrapped lights.
Start by making a loop at one end.
Begin wrapping the longer length of cord around the
body.
Pull hard and keep the loops tight as you wrap them.
Feed the cord through the loop you made at the
beginning.
Grasp both ends and pull hard to cinch everything up.
Size the finger loop to your fingers and then tie it
off.
Trim and burn the ends.
The finished pocket stick light, now a koppo stick.

Good luck and happy wrapping.
